簡介
This dataset, derived from two OR3 research vessel surveys conducted at seven nearshore sites off the western coast of Taiwan in May (late spring) and November (late autumn) 2019, offers a record of small demersal fish assemblages. The data includes 1,809 fish, covering 37 families, 67 genera, and 99 taxa. While the number of fish species recorded in May (26 families, 47 genera, 65 taxa) and November (31 families, 46 genera, 63 taxa) are similar, there is a significant difference in the fish composition. Thirty-six species, belonging to 19 families and 30 genera, were exclusively observed in May, whereas 34 species from 25 families and 28 genera were only recorded in November.
