“Taiwan’s ocean” and “Taiwan’s marine biodiversity” are the two main themes of this exhibition which is currently showing at National Taiwan Museum in Taipei until August 7, 2011 (http://www.ntm.gov.tw/tw/exhibition/exhibition_d.aspx?d=91&no=25). The sub-themes include “Coral reefs of Taiwan,” “Distinct ecology of shallow sea,” “Dark deep sea,” “Marine Biodiversity,” “Marine conservation in Taiwan,” etc. Through the exhibition, the visitors will learn about the marine environment surrounding Taiwan, the beautiful marine organisms and resources of Taiwan, the destructions and pollutions of oceans, the changes of marine ecological environment, and the hope and future of Taiwan’s oceans.
