The exhibition, currently showing at National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung through December 12, 2010 (http://www.nmns.edu.tw/nmns_eng/04exhibit/Temporary/exhibitis/Butterflies.htm), introduces visitors to the amazing and colorful kingdom of native butterflies. The centerpieces among over 360 native species include swallowtail butterfly, gossamer-winged butterfly, parnassian butterfly, etc. The exhibition is also highlighted by 6 precious species borrowed from National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo and some species from Central & South America such as birdwing butterfly with a wingspan up to 18 cm wide, Morpho butterfly, and owl butterfly.
