The ROC National Committee for GBIF held its 1st meeting in year 2014 on May 1, 2014. At the meeting, seven new Steering Committee Members were elected. The idea of establishing a Working Group on “Inter-agency data integration and application strategy” was explored. The Group will discuss how to elevate current tasks of collecting data and technology to the level of providing services on platform and data applications, and how to expand TaiBIF’s biodiversity data to Big Data System.
